KCMPI Scholarship Program:
WEC (World Education Conference)
Salt Lake City, Utah July 11-14, 2009

Description:	Emphasizes the important contributions of professional meeting executives and managers to an organization’s success on an International Level.
Type of Award:	$950.00 maximum which includes airfare, lodging, and registration fee
Who May Apply:	Any KCMPI member who plans on attending the WEC
Application Deadline:	April 15, 2009 (with announcement in May KCMPI Meeting)
Stipulation:	The recipient must take pictures at the event and make a five-minute presentation at the first KCMPI meeting after the conference OR will be required to submit an article within 30 days of the conference for the KCMPI Newsletter about their experiences. Must provide receipts within 30 days of the event prior to receiving up to $950.00. Must attend 100% of the general sessions, workshops, and special events.
How the Award Recipients are Chosen:	Through lottery based on application *Note if no scholarship is awarded for the PEC, money may be set aside for the WEC

If you have received a MPI or KCMPI award in the past two years, you are not eligible

Applicant must be an active member of KCMPI for at least six months prior to applying
