KCMPI Scholarship Program:
MPI MeetDifferent (international conference)
Cancun, Mexico (Feb 20-23, 2010)

Description:	Emphasizes the important contributions of professional meeting executives and managers to an organization’s success on a National Level.
Type of Award:	$750.00 stipend to apply towards airfare, lodging and/or registration fee
Who May Apply:	KCMPI members who plan to attend the international conference
Application Deadline:	November 15, 2009 (with announcement at December chapter event)
Stipulation:	The recipient must take pictures at the event and make a five-minute presentation at the first KCMPI meeting after the conference OR will be required to submit an article within 30 days of the conference for the KCMPI Newsletter about their experiences. Must provide receipts within 30 days after event prior to receiving up to a maximum of $750.00. Must attend 100% of the general sessions, workshops, and special events.
How the Award Recipients are Chosen:	Through lottery based on application *Note if no scholarship is awarded for MeetDifferent, money may be set aside for the WEC

If you have received a MPI or KCMPI award in the past two years, you are not eligible
And
Applicant must be an active member of KCMPI for at least six months prior to applying
