Currently our website layout allows for several types of banner ads.

Ad Rate Variables:
1) Duration Visible: 30 days
2) Size on page: full banner or mini sponsor ad
3) Location on page: top, bottom or sidebar

Pricing for Banner Ads

Homepage Top Banner Ad – $400 members; $500 nonmembers

All other pages Top Banner Ad – $200 members; $300 nonmembers

All other pages Mini Sidebar Ad – $100 members; $200 nonmembers


Technical Requirements:
Please note – banner ad graphics must be properly formatted for display on the website; files which require modification will incur processing fees.

Max size (homepage top): 770x50 pixels
Max size (sidebar): 175x100 pixels

File format (logos/text): .gif compressed, adaptive, no transparency
File format (photos): .jpg compressed, 70%, non-progressive

Banner ads will add to the download time for the website, particularly the homepage, so the file size must be kept at a minimum. As a general rule, .gif files should be no more than 15k in size, and 25k for .jpg files. Images which exceed this limit may require additional compression and this can reduce the quality of the image. Currently, multimedia such as animation, video and audio are not available in KCMPI banner ads, including .gif animation, Flash animation, QuickTime and .midi sound files.

Hyperlinks = each banner ad may have one link to a webpage outside the KCMPI website. This link, when clicked, will open in a new browser window. It is the responsibility of advertisers to provide and maintain an active, functioning link. Links which are broken, invoke multiple pop-up ads, result in error, link to inappropriate material or otherwise reflect poorly on the KCMPI.org website may be disabled.
